A couple of years ago I did a "gratitude challenge" where I posted something I was thankful for every day during the month of November. This year I decided to do it again. This time I have incorporated my family into the challenge, asking everyone to try to find one thing to be thankful for each day. And since I still have my "event tree" up (closing in on the one-year mark), we have decided to write some of those objects of gratitude on paper leaves and hang them on our tree to celebrate November.
So today I am thankful for my husband. Because he is the unsung hero of our house, always here, always dependable, always doing the things that need to be done to keep things running smoothly. Even when he doesn't want to. Even when it isn't fun. Even when no one says thank you. Today I'm saying thank you.
